Just when the caterpillar thought the world was over, she became a butterfly

This Western Tiger Swallowtail Butterfly was spotted in a Lower North Thompson pasture the beginning of June. These are very active butterflies, with the males often being seen congregating at pools and along streams and rivers where they find moisture and minerals by drinking from the water and mud.
