Kamloops Large Animal Vet Clinic to set up dental clinic Aug. 9

Kamloops Large Animal Vet Clinic is stepping up to the plate to donate time and money to the building of the Agriplex.  On August 9, the Clinic will hold a Dental Day at the Barriere Fall Fair Grounds. The Clinic will be donating the entire $102.00 dental fee and matching this dollar for dollar. (This does not include the $36.00 sedation fee.)  That means for every dental treatment the Agriplex construction will receive $204.00.

“This is a fabulous deal for our clients or new clients, as they will not pay any mileage to come to Barriere. There will be a complimentary lunch for everyone attending as well. Our clients are paying a flat rate for dental, which can often cost well over double the rate being charged.” Dr. Mulligan will also give an informative talk explaining the horse’s teeth and the issues that may arise with them.

The staff, when asked what motivated them to hold the event, stated that, “we are closely connected to the rural communities in the North Thompson Valley with our large animal clinic, and we want to show our support to the project of the building of the Agriplex and the best part of the ‘Trading Teeth For Nails Day’ is that everyone involved is helping the Agriplex becoming a reality.”
