North Thompson River and tributaries upgraded to Flood Watch Sunday afternoon

Flooding of areas adjacent to affected rivers may occur

The BC River Forecast Centre has once again upgraded the North Thompson River and tributaries from a High Streamflow warning to Flood Watch, as of Sunday, June 24, at 3:45 p.m.

A Flood Watch means that river levels are rising and will approach or may exceed bankfull. Flooding of areas adjacent to affected rivers may occur.

The River Forecast Centre will continue to monitor conditions and will provide updates as conditions warrant.
