Police request the public’s assistance in locating 28-year-old

The Prince George RCMP are requesting the public’s help in locating a male that has not been heard from since July.

Matthew John White, a 28-year-old man from Prince George indicated that he wanted to visit friends just before he was last seen.

It is believed he left the Prince George on July 10, 2015, but police have not been able to confirm anyone has spoken to him since July 29.

After extensive investigation in Prince George and other communities, police are asking the public’s help in locating White.

Family and friends believe White may have travelled to Kelowna, Kamloops, Barriere, Vancouver or Calgary.

Although investigators believe White has left town on his own accord, they would like to speak to him to ensure he is safe. He does not have a vehicle and may not have a phone.

White is described as:

• Caucasian male

• 183 cm (6’0”)

• 64 kg (140 lbs)

• Brown hair

• Brown eyes

Matthew John White is asked to attend any RCMP Detachment or police service of jurisdiction to speak with an officer.
