Reid Drummond from the Ministry of Highways says the two projects currently underway south of Barriere are both on track and due to be completed by the end of June.
The first project is the addition of the passing lane south of the McLure Ferry. The second is the paving of the two stretches of highway on either side of the first project; on the north up to the McLure Ferry road, including some of the side streets, and on the south down to where they repaved last year.
