The last day of school for students will be Wednesday, June 29.
Parents with students at Barriere Elementary, and Barriere Secondary need to be aware of bussing schedules during this period.
On Wednesday, June 29, afternoon buses will run two hours earlier than the normal schedule. After students finish assemblies, receive report cards, etc., they will be dismissed in order to catch the first bus which will depart from its first pick-up at 12:30 p.m.
On Thursday, June 30, it is the year end for staff only. Students do not attend this day.
When summer vacation comes to a close students will return to school on Tuesday, Sept. 6.
Parents should mark their calendars now regarding the following school bus schedule for that day.
On the first day of school, all morning buses will pick up students two hours later than the regular time for pick up.
In the afternoon elementary and rural school afternoon buses will run two hours earlier than their regularly scheduled time to return the students to their homes (i.e., first pick up will be at the school at approximately 12:30 p.m.).
That same day Secondary School buses will depart at the regular scheduled time (i.e., first bus run at approximately 3:15 p.m.)
