Star/Journal to host All Candidates Forum

Don’t forget the federal election  Kamloops-Thompson-Cariboo All-Candidates’ Forum on Wednesday, Apr. 20, in the Barriere Ridge, at 7 p.m.

Incumbent Conservative MP Cathy Mcleod, New Democrat Party candidate Michael Crawford, Liberal candidate Murray Todd, Green Partt candidate Donovan Cavers, and Christian Heritage Party candidate Chris Kempling will all be in attendance.

Each candidate will be alloted three minutes to make his or her introductory remarks. The floor will then be opened to questions from the audience, and will then be followed by each candidate giving a three minute closing speech.

The evening is sponsored by the North Thompson Star/Journal, will end with an informal meet and greet with the candidates.

Area residents are encouraged to come out and meet the candidates who want to represent the Kamloops-Thompson-Cariboo riding.

If you have a question for one or all of the candidates bring it with you.  Find out what the candidates and their parties have to say about what is important to you and your family.

The federal election will take place on May 2, 2011.  Mark your calender, and remember to vote.
