If anyone has been on the fence about starting post-secondary classes this fall, now is the time.

To help students fund their studies in the 2022-23 academic year, the Government of Canada has temporarily doubled Canada Student Grants for full-time students to up to $6,000 and up to $3,600 for part-time students. The Canada Student Grants for Students with Permanent Disabilities and Students with Dependents are also doubled.

This academic year is the final year (of three COVID year investments) for students to take advantage of this extra funding. All course study start dates are eligible as long as they are prior to Aug. 1, 2023.

There’s still time for anyone who has been thinking about enrolling to apply to Thompson Rivers University (TRU). More information can be found at: https://www.tru.ca/awards.html
