20-year-old Barriere male now faces criminal and motor vehicle act charges

On March 3rd 2013, the Barriere RCMP attended the Esso gas station on Russell Road in Barriere, and observed a male riding an unlicensed dirt bike. The police officer attempted to stop the dirt bike, but the rider was able to flee the scene.

However, a short time later, the person riding the motorcycle was apprehended and taken into custody.

The person now faces criminal and motor vehicle act charges, and the motorcycle is impounded, and could possibly be forfeited and destroyed if ordered by the court.

The 20-year-old male lives locally, and is known to police.
