Vandals are out and about again

The Barriere RCMP Detachment reports that during the weekend of Aug. 13, 14, a number of reports of vandalism were received.

Broken windows were reported at the Barriere Firehall and Barriere Auto Parts, both resulting from rocks.

Police also report that on Monday evening  Aug. 15, someone was throwing rocks at passing vehicles on Highway 5 in Barriere.  One vehicle window was broken as a result.    Total bill if the culprit is caught - $1,000.

They also note that someone broke into Carl’s Market Garden in McLure and took candy.
