Work resumes after unfortunate accident

Parametics attended an accident on Sunday, July 24 at the Agriplex site.

A man working for a contractor  had  fallen from the structure and was taken to Royal Inland Hospital  in Kamloops.

The patient was later transferred to Vancouver Hospital where he is now there recovering.

Work on the North Thompson Agriplex was halted for a few days waiting for inspection from Workers Conpensation. The incident was investigated by the Workers Compensation Board officials and was  reported have no further reason to hold up the project as all safety standards have been met and were up to code.

Work resumed on the site as of July 28.
