It is with great sadness but cherished memories that we mourn the passing of our father, father-in-law, grandfather and great grandfather on Tuesday, September 12, 2006 at the age of 90 years in Revelstoke, BC after an extended stay in hospital.

Albert was born in Kamloops, BC, August 9, 1916 and was raised on the family homestead at Little Fort, BC. He attended school at Little Fort where he played basketball, softball and hard ball.

Through the years, Albert worked at many things including trapping with brother, Louis and helping at his fishing camp, working on the Circle 7 Ranch, making poles at Mile 6, working for BC Tel rebuilding the line between Barriere and Little Fort, serving in the Canadian Army from 1942 to 1946, owned and operated “A & T Transfer” with Tiny, worked in the logging and lumber industry, road construction for Dawson & Wade and Cleaverly Construction and joined the BCFS in 1960 working in Barriere, Lillooet, Smithers and Prince George until his retirement in 1981. He loved to dance, curl, play cards, travel and, most of all, his grandkids and great grandkids. He was involved in the community in some small way wherever they lived. Albert was a great family man and always the gentleman, even to the end.
