1939 – 2015
Arlene Hamblin of Barriere, B.C., passed away in Kamloops, B.C. on August 25, 2015, after a brief illness. She was 76 years of age.
Born in Trail, B.C., on April 26, 1939, Arlene leaves behind her son Brent Hamblin (Lianne), granddaughter Emma-Rae Hamblin, and her sister, Donna Hainstock (Keith). Arlene was predeceased by her parents, Gordon and Laura Hamblin, her sister Sharon, and her aunt, Beverly Nabu.
Arlene was a hard working person. She spent 40 years of her life as a hairdresser, and went back to school to achieve her GED when she was in her 50’s! Arlene was an avid gardener. She loved her family most of all. She also loved her birds and her grandpuppies!
Arlene requested that no service be held. Rather than give flowers, a memorial contribution to the Barriere Hospice Society Box 201, Barriere, B.C., V0E 1E0, would be appreciated.
