Hoffman, Arthur Henry passed away peacefully at the Kelowna Hospice House with his family at his side on Monday September 14th, 2009 at the age of 79 years. He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Lydia, daughter Sandra (Larry), son Tim (Elaine), four grand children; Christopher, Gabrielle and Michael Clark, and Kristopher Hoffman. Arthur is also survived by four brothers; Ernie (Barbara), Wilfred (Odile), Edward (Rose), Lionel (Verna) all of Kelowna and his sister Lee (Gordon) Harmon of North Vancouver, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Arthur was predeceased by his parents John and Mary, brothers; Martin, Raymond and David. Arthur was a registered massage therapist in Kelowna from 1958 until retiring in 1994. He was an active member of the Kelowna Knights of Columbus and his church. He loved all sports, coaching baseball and hockey in his younger years, and was an avid reader. He loved his family dearly. A Funeral Mass and Interment took place on Saturday September 19, 2009 in Kelowna, B.C. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations would be gratefully accepted in Arthur’s memory to the Kelowna Hospice House, 2035 Ethel St., Kelowna.
