On Feb. 3, 2003, Beverly Elizabeth Alexandra Clarke (nee MacKenzie) of Barriere, B.C., passed away peacefully in her sleep at the age of 53. Born June 17, 1949, in Campbellton, Restigouche, New Brunswick.
She leaves to mourn her loving children Don Clarke of Abbotsford, B.C., who will not just miss her as a mother but a best friend, and her loving daughter Donna Clarke of Barriere, B.C. Also her grandchildren, Vincent McLean, Talia Spinelli, Ashley Clarke and Courtney Clarke; her loving mother Isobell MacKenzie; brothers Alan MacKenzie and David MacKenzie; her sister Cheryl Chapple, and many nieces and nephews. She'll be especially missed by her faithful Poka-dotted Pepper dog.
A celebration of life was held at 1 p.m., Feb. 8, 2003, at the Kamloops Funeral Home. Fort those who wish, in lieu of flowers, donations may be sent in her name to Kamloops Humane society (Call Kathy at 250-578-0078).
