Carol was born on Christmas Day in Lucky Lake, SK, in 1939 to August and Hilda Seevers. In 1942 the family, including her three sisters Elfrieda, Lucille and Lillian, moved to Daysland, AB. There her brother Dennis and sister Shirley were born.

In 1951 the family moved to Kamloops where she went to Kam High. She met the love of her life Don, and they were married.

In 1967 they moved to Louis Creek with their two children, Randy and Kathy. Here they purchased their dream property and built their family home.

They lived there for 50 plus years. Bugera Logging and Avon became a way of life. Carol loved selling Avon and just received her 45 year pin. She was a woman with a heart of gold who was always ready and willing to help anyone in need. A valuable member of the community who spent many hours volunteering. Carol loved curling, dancing, playing cards , traveling , country music, reading her books and spending time at Adams Lake with family .  

Touching the lives of many, Carol leaves behind son Randy (Gail), daughter Kathy (Brad), granddaughters Kyra (Shayle), Ashley (Trevor), Charlene (Brad) and Lorranne (Matt), as well as her pride and joy in life – her six great grandchildren Cameron, Jeremy, Corey, Tessa, Claireese and Weston; siblings Dennis (Evelyn), Lillian, Shirley (Barry), numerous nieces and nephews and a legacy of friends.

Carol is predeceased by her parents, Gus and Hilda Seevers, sisters Elfrieda and Lucille, and husband Don.

A celebration of Carol’s life will be held on Saturday, May 20, at the Barriere Fall Fair Hall at 1:00 p.m. There will be a tea to follow.

The family would like to thank the special angels at Marjorie Willoughby Snowden Hospice Home who took such great care of Carol in her final days.
