To all of her nieces and nephews, Dana (Scott), Kyle (Kasia), Brett (Sherry), Hayley (Kyren), Trenton (Michelle),Kendall, Samanth (Jason), Christina (Bryson), Mark (Keisha) Jennifer, Melissa, Amanda and Bryan, Auntie Kitty was a great listener and eager to hear about and be a part of their lives. She firmly endorsed ‘hugs are free’.

Kitty was raised and educated in Barriere. She attended college in Prince George, graduating as a Licensed Practical Nurse. Kitty specialized in Geriatrics and nursed in Fort St. John, Slave Lake, Edmonton, Drayton Valley and Smithers. She enjoyed providing care for the home-bound and endeavored to bring happiness and joy to their lives.

Being in the outdoors was rejuvenating for Kitty and she knew the names of all the local birds. An avid reader, jigsaw and crossword player she was very comfortable in her own space. Kitty valued family and friends as ‘priceless’. Shelley, Gail, Cec, Margie are among the many she called friends.

Kitty’s golden retriever, Annie, was a constant companion and now brings comfort and joy to her family.
