May 29, 1961 - September 1, 2020
In Loving Memory ~ The family of Chris Naas is saddened to announce his passing September 1, 2020 in Royal Inland Hospital, Kamloops, British Columbia.
After a brief battle with cancer, Chris passed away peacefully in his sleep at the age of 59.
He is survived by his loving wife Eileen, his mother Anna Schlingermann, his brother Tom (Karin), his sister Simone and children and his sister Anja (Ian) and children and his beloved dog Fang.
Chris was born May 29, 1961 in Cologne, Germany and immigrated to Canada, becoming a Canadian citizen in 2003. He loved Canada for its wonderful nature and plentiful wildlife and spent much time in the great outdoors.
He had a passion for fine cars (new and old), big trucks, enjoyed his collector train set that he set up every now and then, had a weakness for thrift stores, took an interest in archery (especially the long bow) and was a shy yet good dancer.
Chris was a kind, helpful and goodhearted person and would never say no if somebody needed a helping hand.
He will be greatly missed by family and friends and loved forever.
There will be a small service (due to Covid 19) with family and close friends.
Private arrangements have been made.
