Delbert Ephraim Hunter

Delbert Ephraim Hunter passed away peacefully at the Royal Inland Hospital on June 29, 2010.  

Born on May 4, 1927, Delbert was raised in Senlac, Saskatchewan.

He then moved to the Kamloops area in 1943, where he met and married his wife of sixty years, Jean Vera Hunter in 1946.  

In 1967 they moved to Darfield B.C. with their three children.  

Delbert was predeceased by his parents, his sister Verlyn Harby, and his wife.  

He is survived by his daughter Judy (Calvin) Larson of Slave Lake, Alberta, his son Gerald Hunter of Darfield, B.C., his daughter Susan (Dennis) Gordon of Barriere, B.C., two grandchildren Linda (James) Barnes of Prince George, B.C. and Jay (Kassandra) Larson of Slave Lake, Alberta, and two great granddaughters Kassy Larson of Slave Lake, Alberta, and Phoenix Barnes of Prince George, B.C.  

He is also survived by nieces and nephews, numerous cousins and extended family.  

A graveside service was held in Barriere on July 2, 2010, in honour of Delbert’s life.
