It is with sadness we announce the passing of Sandy Purver on December 3, 2005 at R.I.H.
Sandy is survived by; his wife, Joan; daughters Sheila (Don) Hoffman, Marguerite (Neil) Robertson, Dawn Marie Purver and (Richard) as well as Rose Purver; granddaughters Nicole and Robyn Hoffman; special cousins Dennis Cox of California and Ed Snider of Chilliwack.
Sandy was born July 4, 1924 in Vancouver and raised on the homestead farm at Clayburn, B.C.
Sandy was a long-time member of the Masonic Lodge and Gizeh Temple Shriners.
A Celebration of Sandy’s life was held at the Pentecostal Christian Life Assembly in Barriere on Wednesday December 7, 2005 at 2:30 pm.
The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to the Gizeh Patient Transfer Fund at 3550 Wayburne Drive., Burnaby, BC, V5G 3K9.
