1936 – 2006

Dorothy Klassen, of Barriere, passed away on February 5, 2006 with her family by her side.

She will be sadly missed by: Jake Klassen, her loving husband of almost 37 years; children Norma Fetherman and Cal Lundgren; stepchildren Randy Klassen, Rick Klassen, Barb Wuhrer and Beverly Marisco; ten grandchildren; siblings Betty Hatfield, Dolly Moon, Don Moon, Jim Viher, Kay Wicklund, Louis Viher, Nellie Scott and Vera Eckman; as well as many loving friends.

Dorothy was predeceased by her parents, John and Rose Moon, sister Della Diesing and brother John Viher.

A Celebration of Dorothy’s Life was held on Wednesday, February 8, 2006, at 1:00 p.m. at the Lion’s Club Community Hall, Barriere, BC.

The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Barriere and District Hospice Society, Box 201, Barriere, BC, V0E 1E0.
