Dorothy Louise Koester, born March 9, 1923, passed peacefully on August 22, 2009, after a long stay in Royal Inland Hospital.
She was predeceased by husband Albert Koester on July 7, 2001.
Survived by brother Bill Ish of Vernon B.C., and her children Gloria Koester, Gordon (Laurallie) Koester, Jim (Jo) Koester, Ron Koester, Dwila Mertz, Jim Winberger; Fourteen grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
Many thanks to the RIH staff for the excellent care that Mom received in her last months. The family is so grateful to all the nurses that were there for Mom when we couldn’t be.
Kamloops Funeral Home is in charge of cremation arrangements.
Celebration of Life will be held September 5th, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the Lions Hall in Barriere, B.C.
