Elmer Harold Lundeberg

On Thursday, November 30, 2006 Mr. Elmer Lundeberg of Heffley Creek, passed away suddenly at the age of 79 years. He is survived by loving wife Elinor “Frances” and his three children Beverley (Patrick), Arthur (Linda) and Peggy (Alan); seven grandchildren Tammy, Jason, Shelley, Kimberley, Chrissy, Jamie and Michael; six great grandchildren Tristan, Kayleigh, Aidan, Liam, Jackson and Jessica. Also left to cherish his memory, brothers Bert (Terry) and Ivor (Pauline) and numerous nieces and nephews.

Elmer was born on September 11, 1927 in Viking, Alberta, moving to Avola, BC in 1930. He worked for CP Rail in Cranbrook, and then logged in Avola, Barriere and Lillooet area for many years. Upon retirement he spent his last years at Heffley Creek. Elmer will be remembered and missed by his family and many friends.

A Memorial Service was held on Monday, December 4, 2006 in the Schoening Funeral Chapel.
