In Loving Memory of Eric Peter Polson ~
Eric Peter Polson came into this world December 16,1936, the 3rd child of Karl and Alma Polson of Flin Flon, Manitoba. In his childhood the family moved to Saskatchewan and Ontario before settling in Winnipeg.
Eric obtained his schooling in Rose Valley, Saskatchewan and Couchtuner, Ontario. Eric followed his parents to Winnipeg where he met, and married Hilda Rosentreter on September 26, 1959.
Eric and Hilda always kept busy with whichever Church they attended. From Sunday School to Usher to Deacon, Eric found a great fulfilment in his work for our Lord. Many will remember his great fervour for keeping the Church sound both physically and spiritually.
Eric spent the majority of his working career with Alcan in Kitimat, BC. The couple retired to Barriere in June 1997. Again, taking up positions in the Church.
Eric spent his last 2 years in Gemstone Nursing Home in Kamloops passing away on March 2, 2021.
