On Tuesday, November 16, 2010 Gordon Douglas Koester of Barriere, passed away at Kelowna, B.C. at the age of 62 years.
He is survived by his loving wife Laurallie; his daughter Monica (Dennis) Vanderzwan and granddaughter Jennifer; his son Gerald (Marcia) Koester and grandsons Nick, Geoffrey and Jacob; son Rob (Val) Burnett and granddaughters Jessica and Stephanie.
Gordon was born November 6, 1948 in Calgary, Alberta.
He was a loving husband, father and papa.
He will be forever in our hearts.
Friends are invited to join with the family for a Graveside Service to be held in the Barriere Memorial Cemetery on Wednesday, November 24, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. A reception will follow in the Barriere Community (Lion’s) Hall.
The family wish to thank all the paramedics, doctors and nurses who were there to help at this most difficult time.
