Mr. Matthew “Grant” Carson of Barriere, B.C. passed away suddenly on May 24 at the age of 38 years.
Grant is predeceased by his father Ron Carson (1996).
He will be remembered by his mother Mary Carson, sisters LaVerne (Ken) MacDougall and Debbie (Dennis) Luison, brothers Glen Carson and Trevor (Kathy) Carson: nieces and nephews Chris, Steven, Katelyn, Jamie-Lee, Miranda, Jarret, Justin and Skye.
Grant was a long-time member of the Barriere Search and Rescue and he also worked as a firefighter for many summers.
He was known in the community as a cheerful hard-working person who was always there to lend a hand.
Service of Remembrance was held Friday, May 30 in Barriere. In lieu of flowers, donations to Barriere Search and Rescue in memory of Grant would be preferred.
