Harold (Nick) Botkin.
Nick passed away suddenly at home June 19, 2021, at the age of 67.
Nick was born March 28,1954 in Murrayville (Langley) BC and moved to Barriere in 2002.
Nick is survived by his Sisters Jackie Ward, Vicki Lee (Steve) Wilson, brother Gary (Bev) Botkin. Nephew Jim (Anna) Ward, Nieces Connie (Barry Wilson), Christina Hillan, great nephews, Kyle (Jazmin) Wilson, Nathan Hillan, great nieces Chelsea Wilson, Desiree Hillan, Megan Ward.
Nick was predeceased by his parents Dean & Joan (Lalonde) Botkin, Brother-in-law Doug Ward and great nephew (Brendan) Wilson.
Nick pretty much called everyone a friend. In his younger years he loved fishing, hiking, biking, and a good party. He loved to socialize, laugh, and conversations at the kitchen table or around a campfire. He was a creative woodworker/carver and loved art, painting, movies, and music. His health issues made some of these things impossible to do in later life, but he had great memories and stories to tell. Nick loved life and always had a smile for all he encountered. He was a friend to those he met and be will greatly missed by all.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
