Irene Cline (née Cunningham), age 82, resided in Bedford Manor, Kamloops, B.C. She was born on January 9, 1928, in Winnipeg, Manitoba, and died July 30, 2010, at the Royal Inland Hospital, Kamloops, B.C., after a lengthy illness.

Irene is survived by her son Gary (Heidi) Cline of Barriere, B.C., only daughter Maureen (Frank) Wiseman of Barriere, son Dale (Michele) Cline of Kamloops, son Preston Cline of Grand Forks, B.C., son Paul Cline of Kitamat, B.C., and son Mike Cline of Barriere. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, her loving sister, Dorothy Leschyson, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her loving husband of 56 years, Robert Cline, and by her son Greg Cline.

Irene enjoyed many hobbies, including bowling, darts, and camping with her family. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, as well as a good friend to many, and will be greatly missed.

Irene’s wish was to be cremated.

A graveside memorial service for Irene Cline took place at Barriere Memorial Cemetery on Friday, August 6, 2010, at 1:00 p.m., followed immediately by a celebration of her life at the Royal Canadian Legion, Barriere Branch.
