Feb 9, 1932 - Jun 10, 2018
Joe was born near Cupar Saskatchewan, second son to Adam and Annie Sabyan, brother to Adam, Paul and Steve.

Survived by his partner Cherie Jardine, brother Adam and wife Lucy, 4 children and their spouses: Joey, Carol, Brian and Heather, 7 grandsons, 3 great grandchildren, 2 step-sons and 4 step-grandchildren, sister in law Theresia and family, plus numerous nieces, nephews and relatives in Saskatchewan. Predeceased by his parents, infant sister as well as brothers Steve and Paul.

Joe was one of a kind and you knew that as soon as you met him! His strong work ethic and love of family knew no end or boundaries. While Joe worked on an elevator repair crew, stooked grain, and hauled firewood as a young man, it was his love of raising, buying and selling horses that was in his blood. Moving to BC in the mid 1950's he worked in local sawmills and as a wrangler on several interior ranches and was always seen pulling a horse trailer or hay wagon behind a truck on his many adventures.

Joe raised many good horses, Appaloosa's, Thoroughbred's, Paint's and in the later years Quarter Horses. The Horse World just lost a great one and will mourn his passing. Joe's greatest JOY these last days was to find out his oldest mare was in foal for the end of June. He told Dr's, nurses and anyone else who would listen that "Rosie was going to have a foal"!!

Service for Joe Sabyan will be held on Saturday June 23, 2018 at the Little Fort Hall at 1:00 p.m.

Interment will follow tea and refreshments at 3:00 p.m.at the Little Fort Cemetery.
