Lindsay Spencer Grummett
August 5, 1960 - October 1, 2007
Lindsay Spencer Grummett was all too swiftly taken from us at his home in Blue River, BC, on October 1, 2007 at 47 years of age.
Lindsay is survived and sorely missed by his soul mate of 22 years, Evelyn, his mom Irene, his sisters Joanne (Ron), Colleen (Gord), Jackie (Dave) and by his brother, Bob. Lindsay was predeceased by his father, Billie, his brother Colin and his nephew, Nicky. He will be lovingly remembered by Evelyn’s family, as well as numerous nieces and nephews, other relatives, and his many, many friends.
Lindsay was born in Saskatoon and raised in Calgary, where he made many lifetime friends. However, he decided that the city life was not for him. His yearning for the country brought him to Blue River in 1985. Here he enthusiastically participated in several outdoor activities, such as snowmobiling, fishing, quading and hunting. Lindsay loved to simply take in all of nature’s sights, sounds and smells.
Lindsay had several job opportunities, including pump design distributor, track maintainer and machine operator, the last of which prompted him to invest into a business that he was passionate about. Let it snow! Let it snow! Let it snow!
Following cremation, family and friends gathered at the Blue River Hall on Saturday, October 6, 2007 to remember Lindsay.
