Lois passed away Sept 10, 2010 at the Marjorie Snowden Willoughby Hospice Home in Kamloops with her husband and children by her side. Lois leaves behind her husband Bernard Donchi and her children Greg Donchi (Shelly), Wendy Fawcett (Miles), Murray Donchi (Sharon), Linda Skelton(Randy), Debbie Larson(Ernie), Tammie Bereti (Randy), her grandchildren Daniella (Shane) Kallusky, Tracy Fawcett, Nicole Allen (Joe), Katelynn Fawcett (Chris), Ben Donchi, Kalaya Donchi, Shane Lougheed (Kristin), Randy Lougheed (Chrissy), Devon Larson, Cullen Bereti, Ryan Bereti, great grandchildren Caleb, Kassidy, Olivia, Carter, Tanner and Lyla, her sister and brother in laws Arlene Donchi, Annie Donchi, Jim and Glenys Donchi. Lois was predeceased by her first husband Robert Donchi, her mother and father Mary and Joe Zaccarelli, other family Laura and Bud Wilson, Millie and Ken Schneider, John Donchi, Ronnie Donchi and Merle Donchi.
Lois was born in Didsbury AB and moved to BC in her early teens, where she met Bobby and married when she was 16yrs. They lived in Heffley Creek for 39 years till Bobby passed in 1997. Lois moved to Vinsulla in1999. Lois married Bernard in July 2009. Lois took great pride in her cross stitch which won her first place awards3 yrs in a row at the Barriere Fall Fair also entering preserves and various other items. Lois loved to play cards, camp, fish, cook and taking care of her family and grandchildren. She had been carpet bowing for 13 years and enjoyed it immensely A Service of Remembrance will take place on Saturday September 18, at 1:00pm at the Kamloops Funeral Home with Chaplain Mary Widmer officiating.
