It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our loving mother.
Born May 31, 1927, in Germany. Passed away peacefully at Springfield Care Home, Friday, May 29, 2009, at the age of 81, with her daughter by her side.
She was sadly predeceased by her husband Robert in 2008.
Magdalene is survived by her children: Karl Hirschhofer (Marnie) and Krista Hirschhofer (Rod McMorran). Six grandchildren: Troy, Keith, Natasha (Blaine) Buchi, Ashley, Kyra and Hunter. Two great grandchildren: Kyle and Braydan.
The family would like to express their gratitude to Dr. J. Fisher, Dr. J. Mace and the staff of Springfield Care Home for their very special care of Magdalene.
We would also like to thank Kelowna General Hospital for making it possible for Bob to live his last days beside his wife.
A celebration of Magdalene’s and Robert’s life will be held on June 20th, 2009, 11 a.m. at First Memorial Funeral Home, 1211 Sutherland Ave, in Kelowna.
