GOD’S FLOWER
GARDEN
God saw you getting tired
when a cure was not to be,
So He closed His arms
around you and whispered,
“Come with Me.”
Your smile is gone forever,
Your hands we cannot touch.
All we have are memories,
Of one we loved so much.
He took you to His garden,
And laid you there to rest.
God’s garden must be beautiful;
He only takes the best.
And when we saw you sleeping
So peaceful and free from pain,
We would not want you
To suffer that again.
The graveside service took place at 2:30 p.m., Saturday, July 5, 2003, at Lakeview Memorial Garden Cemetery, Kelowna, B.C., Pastor Gordon Fletcher officiating. The family would appreciate donations in memory of Marilynn to the Royal Inland Hospital Foundation Wound Care Program.
