Marlene Ann Nesbitt of Barriere, BC. passed away peacefully at Royal Inland Hospital, Kamloops BC, with her family beside her on February 8, 2011. Marlene was born in Vancouver BC on March 26, 1940. She is survived by her loving husband Arthur Charles Nesbitt and their seven children: Larry (Mellisa) of Kamloops BC, David (Tammy) of Kamloops, Shirley (Brian) of Barriere BC, Norma (Doug) of Kamloops, Robert of Barriere, Wanda of Kamloops, and Trevor (Patti) of Kamloops; her brothers Rod Harris of Rocky Mountain House Alberta, Bill (Diane) Harris of Saskatchewan and Gerry (Rochelle) of Elko BC; brother-in-law Meinhart Witt of Kamloops; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Marlene was predeceased by her father Charles David Eade Harris and mother Hazele Wanetta; brothers Fred Harris and Pat Harris; sisters Shiela Foisey, Audrey Kerslake and June Witt; and by her sister-in-law Arlene Harris. Marlene will be deeply missed by her loving family, may she be at peace in the hands of the Lord.

A memorial service will be held later in the spring. Any donations may be sent to the BC Lung Association 2675 Oak Street, Vancouver, British Columbia, V6H 2K2 on behalf of Marlene Nesbitt.
