Muriel Elizabeth Baxter

June 8, 2002

Baxter (nee: James) Muriel Elizabeth (Betty) passed away in Kamloops, with family by her side on June 8, 2002 in her 75th year.

She is survived by her loving husband Donald, sons Marshall (Karen), David (Lee), and was predeceased by Grace. She will be forever missed by grandchildren Steven, Taylor, Erika, Shea and Raylene; brothers Marshall (Marion) James, Ray (Doreen) James, and sisters Audrey Lewis, Viv (Dave) Quelch.

Betty was born in Vancouver, where she worked for the Grolier Society and Alberta Wheat Pool. She traveled to Bermuda, working there in the hospitality and convention industry, eventually returning in 1956, marrying Donald and moving to Clearwater, raising their family and residing there since.

Betty enjoyed her years of charity work in Vancouver and Clearwater. She was an avid gardener.

In our hearts and minds Betty will always be remembered as our Royal (Queen of Hearts) Lady.

Family and friends joined for a service and afternoon tea Saturday, June 15, 2002 at the Clearwater Christian Church, Clearwater, B.C.
