Owen Moore of Barriere passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his family on January 12 from a long, well fought battle with heart failure.
Owen lived a full eventful 68 years and was able to finish his final project.
He will be forever missed by his wife Cheryl of 42 years, his beloved son Shawn, daughter-in-law Lana, and his precious grandchildren Chance and Hope who were the joy of his final year. He also leaves two sisters and two brothers in Alberta.
Owen asked us to say good-bye to his many friends and thank them for being part of his life.
He also wanted to thank Dr. Jack for his gentle care and friendship throughout his long illness.
Owen was a true cowboy and his wish was that a team roping be held at a later date as a remembrance to him in lieu of a funeral.
