On June 5, 2007, Charles James Powles of Barriere, B.C., passed away unexpectedly at the age of 71 years.
Charles was born in Calgary, Alberta, on May 7, 1936. He lived in Kamloops for many years and moved to Barriere in 2004.
Charles will be remembered for his gentle spirit and wonderful sense of humour.
Charles was predeceased by both parents and his sister Kathy. He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his brother and family in Kelowna, B.C., brother-in-law Mike and family in Delta, BC, and all his friends and family at Barriere House.
A memorial tea was held in Charles’ honour on June 15, 2007, at Barriere House.
