Reo Prevost was born on August 3, 1931 in Notre Dame du Laus, Quebec. He moved to Barriere, BC in April, 2006 and passed away suddenly on September 17, 2010 at the Royal Inland Hospital in Kamloops, BC, at 79 years of age.

Left to mourn Reo’s passing are his sister, Fernande LePage of Smooth Rock Falls, ON; daughters Gabrielle Prevost (Richard Turner) of Barriere, Linda Demers of Kamloops, and Sharon Vida of Woodstock, ON; his three grandchildren, Michaell Prevost and Donald Demers of Welland, ON and Katrina Morris of Burnaby, BC; plus 10 great grandchildren. Reo was predeceased by his parents, Mathias and Zelema Prevost (nee Thibodeau) of Welland, ON; brother Larry Prevost of Welland; and Reo’s wife, Amy Prevost (nee Gurnick) of Welland.

Before he retired Reo had worked as a welder, painter, steeplejack and was a bartender/waiter for 40 years. He was always interested in electronics, enjoyed watching TV, and playing on his computer. He was charming, witty and humorous - a very quiet man who loved the ladies.

Reo will be cremated, with a memorial service to be held at a later date.
