Robert Austin Flumerfelt, of Barriere B.C. passed away on October 31st 2008.
He was born in Vancouver B.C. to William Wesley and Mary Maude Ethel (White) on Nov. 11th 1918.
He leaves to mourn his beloved wife, Magdalena, step-daughter Krista, and family,step-son Karl and family. As well as sister-in-law Joyce; and nephew Jim and family. He was preceded in death by his brother Ken in 2005.
Robert grew up on the coast of B.C. and spent his first years logging, as well as fishing and beachcombing. In 1953 he moved to Barriere where he continued to log until his retirement. Robert and Magdelena enjoyed gardening and raising a few chickens and geese. He always reminded us to watch for the green pavement.
He will be greatly missed by their many friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held later in the spring.
