KRATZER, Thomas James, born August 25, 1950 passed away May 17, 2008 in Kamloops, B.C. after a courageous and inspirational fight against cancer. He will be forever loved and missed by his brother Peter, sister-in-law Ann, nieces Jillian and Lauren, devoted friend Magali, extended family and many friends. Tom was predeceased by his parents, Joe and Winnie Kratzer.
Tom, a graduate of U.B.C., had a variety of careers and interests in his life, all of which he pursued with passion and integrity. In the midst of pain, he inspired others with his appreciation of life, generosity of spirit and expressions of love.
We wish to thank the many people who supported and cared for Tom. Magali Ciarelli, for her unwavering care, the Mitchell family for opening their homes, Linda McMahon for her generous time and expertise, staff at the Kamloops hospice for their compassionate care, Dr. Phil Sigalet for his understanding and support, the Barriere Home Care staff and all the friends who visited Tom.
A memorial service will be held at 2pm. on Saturday, May 31st in the United Church, Barriere, B.C.
