Vernon Allan (Barney) Rubel, born May 21, 1930, at Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, passed away on Feb. 2, 2003, at the Creston Valley Hospital. Barney was a resident of Creston, B.C. and was formerly of Barriere, B.C.
He was predeceased by his parents, wife Rachel, and his brother, Ken Rubel. Barney is survived by his stepdaughter Barbara Moi (Doug Wardrop) of North Vancouver, nieces and nephew Kari, Sue and Dan Rubel.
