WILFRED “BILL” JORDAN

January 7, 2006

Bill was born in Quesnel, BC, and passed away at Crystal Lake, BC, doing what he loved – ice fishing with friends.

He is survived by Karen, his loving wife of 29 years, daughters Amanda Jordan and Loretta (Greg) Flath, son Travis Jordan, granddaughter Dylana Flath, brothers Jim (Anthea) Jordan, Charles Jordan, Allen (Ann) Jordan, Michael (Donna) Jordan, sisters Marie (Ernest) Isaac and Colleen (Antoine) Gagné.

Bill moved to Clearwater in 1970.

Over the years, he worked in logging, ran a tow truck business and operated a garbage removal business until his retirement in 2003.

Besides fishing (and canning and smoking fish) he enjoyed gardening, woodworking and building things.

He was active in church and community, eager to help out where there was a need.

A funeral service was held in Clearwater’s Evangelical Free Church on January 14, 2006, with Pastor Doug Holtby officiating. Interment followed at Clearwater Riverview Cemetery.

Donations may be made to Bill’s favourite charity: Worldwide Evangelization for Christ International, 37 Aberdeen Ave., Hamilton, Ontario, L8P 2N6.

Funeral arrangements entrusted to North Thompson Funeral Services, 73 Taren Drive, Clearwater, BC, V0E 1N0, phone 877-674-3030.
