William Albert (Bill) Stephens
May 24, 1943 – March 11, 2014
Bill Stephens passed away on March 11, 2014, at Royal Inland Hospital. He was 70 years old and lived at East Barriere Lakes Road, Barriere, British Columbia.
Bill is survived by his wife Dorothy Draper, son Shad Stephens (Laura), grandchildren Eva and Jamie Stephens, his daughter Shannon Higdon (Rory) and grandson, Travis Higdon. He was predeceased by his parents Muriel and Donald Stephens.
Bill was a Blacksmith by trade; horse shoeing was his life. He loved to ride and build motorcycles. He loved to tell us stories and ride horses. Bill was a great husband, loving father and grandfather who worked hard to provide for his family.
