A word from the Barriere Walk for Alzheimer’s

Letter to the Editor: A word from the Barriere Walk for Alzheimer’s

To the Editor,

Thank you all so very, very much.  The official count as of July 30 is officially in.  The Barriere Walk for Alzheimer’s raised $11,157, just short by $323 of matching the 2015 total.

We would particularly like to thank the residents of Clearwater, Blackpool, Little Fort, Darfield, Louis Creek, Agate Bay area, McLure, and of course Barriere where it all started nine years ago.  We live in such a wonderful area of the world, where people are not only very friendly, but also very giving in so many ways (their time, as well as their support).

When you pick up your 2017 calendars this fall, please remember to mark the date of next year’s Walk – May 7, 2017 – this will be the 10th year for the Barriere Walk for Alzheimers.  We are planning to make this a really special Anniversary Walk.
