Covid’s Curse

Living in isolation

Living in isolation

with the ones you love,

You may curse the ground below

or thank the skies above.

Tension comes round fast,

anxiety, panic and fear.

We’re all in this together,

praise for out town we hear.

Getting odd things done

round the house and yard.

It’s all looking good,

Canada we stand on guard.

Keeping social distancing

to keep the virus away.

They’re working on a vaccine,

the world waiting for that day.

In the meantime

we carry on each day.

Doing the little things

to make the Covid go away.
