The annual Barriere Secondary Christmas Lunch was held Dec. 12, 2018 at the school and was catered by numerous volunteers from local community groups and businesses.
Laura Mairs oversaw the meal preparation, and volunteers came from the Lions Club, Legion, District of Barriere, School District 73, Lower North Thompson Community Forest Society, Interior Savings, Barriere Fire Rescue and many more.
In total over 180 students were served a full turkey dinner with all the fixings thanks to their community.
