To the editor;
This is an invitation to the public to please join us as we celebrate National Aboriginal Day in Clearwater, B.C. This is a community-based, family event that will showcase and celebrate the diversity of Aboriginal people from across Canada and here in the North Thompson Valley. First Nations, Métis and Inuit peoples gather to share their spirit, experiences, stories, songs, art and crafts.
Sunday, June 19, 11 a.m. until 5 p.m., at the Dutch Lake Community Center. As last year, we are again opening up participation to other groups, organizations, and individuals.
The main focus for the day is Aboriginal Culture, but we would like to share our day with all of you and welcome your participation for this wonderful family community event.
Booth spaces are by “donation”, and you will need your own tents, tables, chairs, etcetera. There is no electricity; and t all food venders, we will need a copy of your health permit. Ticket sales, raffles. and so on will need a copy of your lottery licence number.
If you would like more information please contact Cindy Wilgosh by email at: email@example.com or firstname.lastname@example.org or call 250-674-2939.
