Lend your support to 911 Golf Tournament at Chinook Cove

Fourth year for 911 Golf Tournament in Barriere area in support of area youth programs

To the editor;

It is that great time of year again...golf season!

I hope all of you have had a good start to your year and are out enjoying our beautiful area.

I am writing in regards to our annual 911 Golf Tournament which is in its fourth year and going strong.

We have had tremendous support from the communities and local governments.  Our funding goes directly back to the communities and areas we serve for youth programs and initiatives.  We have given $6,000 back each year for a total of $18,000 invested into our youth.

This is a passion of ours, and we have great pride in giving back and getting more of your youth involved in their communities by supporting a diverse group.

This year we have already received $500 from the District of Barriere and will receive support from the Simpcw First Nation.  Last year we received $200 to $500 from two TNRD area representatives.  I am hoping that you can match last year or match the District of Barriere support.

This truly is a valley initiative, not just for Barriere, but supporting groups from McLure through Clearwater.
