To the editor;
With respect to the recent All Candidates Forum that was hosted by the Barriere and Area Chamber of Commerce I feel it is important to recognize the contributions made by the North Thompson Star/Journal in the form of donated advertising for the event, as well as the North Thompson Fall Fair and Rodeo Association for their kind donation of the hall rental.
Our community relies on these types of contributions in many ways. It speaks volumes for the dedication to our community and the foresight of the folks that manage these two organizations who realize that without their generosity residents would not have the opportunity to hear what the candidates have to say.
