The first annual Business Expo, which was sponsored by the North Thompson Women in Business, was held on April 2 at Clearwater Lodge and was a great success.
All of the businesses taking part asked to be part of the second annual Business Expo, as did several business people who came to view the event.
Thank you to Clearwater Lodge for hosting the Expo and to the Barriere Star/Journal and the North Thompson Times for all the great coverage.
NTWIB was established in 2013 as an organization created in order to give a voice to Clearwater and district businesswomen, whether they be professionals, run their own businesses, work for others, or thinking about starting a business.
Our aim is to offer as many networking opportunities as possible to promote one another’s businesses. We hold interesting and enjoyable luncheons where both members and the general public are welcome to attend. Our monthly luncheons are held at the Wells Gray Inn on the last Monday of the month. We meet from September till May. We have a drop-in fee of $2 and you purchase your own lunch and beverage.
Guest speakers receive a small feature on their business in the Clearwater-North Thompson Times newspaper.
Next meeting will be April 25 and our guest speaker will be Vix Meyer
